In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
