The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
